So here is a round up of June in the gardens. Enjoy

The colour on these californian poppies is amazing! I didn't even plant it, its appearing in the sweet pea trough in the scented garden. A glorious colour and a gift from nature, what's not to love

I better get last weeks round up done before we start another week tomorrow lol.
The end is in sight for the annual stockbed tidy as Isabel and I work on the last stock bed, from either end, getting closer and closer. We’ve potted so many plants too to fill up the stock beds, with plenty more potting to go.
Fiona and Erin continue to pot up seedlings and cuttings, and once finished we will all be on to this year propagation, creating plants for next year.
Isabel and I lifted the canopies on some of the trees in the woodland garden which were over hanging the paths and we’ve tied in and pruned the laburnum arch on the bottom terrace.
We had a visit from the Roberton Garden club on Wednesday and I’ve been planting out the last of the annuals and hopefully the hare won’t eat the kale! I am going back through the alpines propagating more to keep stock up, our alpines are very popular.
We are delighted that Isabel will now be with us 3 days a week and Fiona will be in two days instead of just Saturdays. This will mean we can power through all the work quicker and get some of the jobs done that keep falling to the bottom of the list and it will take the pressure off me a wee bit (hopefully) though I’ll always find something to be stressed about lol and we will always (mostly) have two of us in the nursery every day we are open so we can help customers with all their plant purchases and advice.
Lunch at Abbotsford after a hospital appointment this afternoon
From the front garden - I've been working on this painting for the last week. Its been lovely to be able to sit down and do a wee bit paining in the evenings again

Can you guess the flowers? I wont be offended if not
