Line and wash trees on the hill |
These cyclamen coum just keep flowering, they are now in their 4th week of flowering as are the cyclamen I planted in the garden. Once done in the house these will go out into a border under some shrubs ready to go again next year. Along with some antiques and old garden books, they look very much at home here against our dark walls

I was putting some of our ivies out in the sales area today, they are looking fabulous, perfect for going in the sales area for opening next week.
We have 9 varieties of ivy in stock, all propagated from our own plants growing here in the nursery. From tiny leaves of Hedera helix 'Minima' to the large leaves of Hedera colchica 'Dentata Variegata', from plain green to gold or silver variegation, the splotchy leaves of Hedera helix 'Fantasia' or the butter yellow of Hedera helix 'Buttercup' and of course my namesake Hedera hibirnica 'Rona'. Tall ones, miniature and smaller height ones, we have an ivy for everyone for evergreen ground cover or up a wall or fence, to cover tree stumps or an ugly shed, ivies are versatile and worth growing. Great for wildlife as a habitat for birds nesting, homes for bugs and beasties and if you have flowering mature ivy, the flowers provide food for bees and flies.
Behind the scenes - 200 fresh point of sales signs printed and laminated this afternoon to replace faded and damaged ones from last year. I'm also putting together a list of brand new ones to print out soon. These go in the stock beds and sales area and really help our customers to select their plants, especially if the plant is not in flower or its early in the season when they have yet to come in to growth
